From small jobs in 2004 to full remodels and a trained crew

1989

Born in Lutsk, Ukraine. Drawn to tools and hands-on work from an early age — taking apart radios, fixing things around the house, curious how everything worked.

2004

First real jobs: furniture assembly, light repairs, hanging shelves, fixing locks. Summers with my grandfather, who taught me woodworking and how to use tools properly.

2006

Completed my first full bathroom renovation alone — tile work, plumbing, wall finishing. The moment I realized: “I want to build things professionally.”

2008

Worked with independent contractors — demolition, flooring, tile, doors, trim. Learned on the job, watching closely how experienced pros worked.

2014

First full apartment remodel completely on my own. Started filming my work and posting the progress online.

2015

Founded Work Time Service. No idea how to start a company or what to name it — did it anyway. First real clients, first helpers, first reputation.

2015–2022

Grew the business from small jobs to full apartment remodels. Built my first team and long-term, trust-based client relationships.

2022

Moved to the United States. A fresh start: new language, new rules, new market — with my experience, my tools, and the mindset that quality always matters. First bathroom and flooring projects in the Seattle area.

2023

Larger U.S. projects — kitchens, full floors, entire home renovations. Formed a team again and began training younger workers.

2024

Founded Work Time Alliance — a professional community of licensed trade contractors across the Seattle area, running on the CRM and estimating tools we built ourselves. Started a tile course and mentorship for new contractors. worktimealliance.com →

2025

10 years of Work Time Service. 3 years in the United States. Happy clients. The dream now: to open a school for builders and raise the next generation of craftsmen.
