Tacoma’s North End, Proctor and Stadium District are full of craftsman homes with bathrooms that have not been properly rebuilt since the 1970s — sometimes since the house was built. Under the vinyl and the third layer of paint there is usually a room that needs real work: framing, plumbing, subfloor. That is the work we do best.
Pierce County is a core part of our service area, and Tacoma projects get the same crew and the same itemized-estimate process as our King County work. Most Tacoma bathrooms land between $15,000 and $30,000 rebuilt properly — often less than homeowners fear, because we price every line openly instead of quoting one padded number.

Rebuilding Tacoma’s older bathrooms the right way
In pre-1960 Tacoma homes we plan for plumbing surprises the same way we do in Seattle: cast-iron drains with 60+ years of service, galvanized supply stubs and floors that sag toward the middle of the house. The remodel is the cheapest moment you will ever have to correct these — the walls are already open.
Permits for plumbing and electrical scopes go through the City of Tacoma’s Planning and Development Services, and we manage the process end-to-end. Tacoma inspectors care most about venting and waterproofing details — which happens to be exactly what we are strictest about ourselves.

Bathroom remodeling in Tacoma — FAQ
?Do you actually serve Tacoma, or is it the edge of your area?
Tacoma is core territory — we serve all of Pierce County, and our shop in Kent is 20 minutes up I-5. Same crew, same process, same warranty as every other project.
?How much does it cost to remodel a bathroom in an older Tacoma home?
Most full remodels of standard-size Tacoma bathrooms run $15,000–$30,000, with master bathrooms and custom tile showers above that. Older-home corrections (subfloor, pipe stubs, venting) are priced as separate visible lines in the estimate.
?Do you provide waterproofing?
Absolutely. We use code-approved waterproofing systems on walls, floors and shower areas — the single most important step for a bathroom that lasts in the wet Northwest climate.
?Do you handle plumbing and electrical work?
Yes. Our team manages all plumbing, electrical, ventilation and code requirements for your bathroom — including fixture relocations.
?Do you offer free estimates?
